Celebrating Intellectual Freedom!

SPC Programs & Events

September 25 through October 1, 2016 is Banned Books Week, an annual event sponsored by the American Library Association to bring attention to our right to read. While not every book is appropriate for every audience, the ALA advocates intellectual freedom and supports librarians, teachers, and administrators undergoing a material or service challenge.

The Sandbox has read Banned Books in past years, but this year, the Seminole Learning Commons decided to explore what intellectual freedom means to us!
