Titans Win

SPC Baseball traveled over to Lake Mary, FL on Sunday to take on Seminole State College.  Going down 0-1 a Drew Posavec 2-run home run gave the Titans a 2-1 lead.  After the Raiders battled back they regained the lead going up 4-6.  Then with 2 outs and a 2-2 count Lincoln Dunham drove a 3-run home run over the left field fence.  That is all the Pitching staff needed as they shut the door on the Raiders offense.

“The team is really starting to come together.  We are one-third of the way through our season and we have played the best teams in the state day in and day out.  The second-third of our season will really define what kind of team we are.  Personally, I am very excited to see how our guys develop.” Said Coach Beckman post-game.

St. Petersburg College Baseball will be representing Team USA as they take part in the St. Pete International Baseball Tournament March 7th and 9th at Al Lang Stadium in Downtown St. Pete.  For more information visit www.stpeteinternationalbaseball.com.
