On April 5th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Seminole Campus Digitorium, Dr. Jacqueline Fancher Marn will read from I’ve Been Inaudible: The Spoken Emotion. The night is shaping up to be a poetic performance, showcasing talented artists and performers centered around Dr. Marn’s journey from a child in the rural south to her validation as a respected professional.

Six-time published author and St. Petersburg College English professor, Dr. Marn engages everyone from all walks of life so they are able to connect with the principle idea behind the story through movement, music, and featured passages. The energetic performance is packed with 120 singers from two choirs. 22 dancers from three different dance troupes, and multiple soloists. Dr. Marn expresses her hope that the feeling of isolation we all experience can be challenged in the unifying, emotionally raw, and musically poetic interactive event that is I’ve Been Inaudible: The Spoken Emotion.

After the free performance, there will be free refreshments from Frida’s and Dr. Marn will sign books. Join the experience and enjoy one of St. Petersburg College’s incredibly influential and accomplished local writers, Dr. Jacqueline Fancher Marn.
