Coach Ryan Beckman Tells Tale of Titans Baseball

At the start of a successful season of baseball, Coach Ryan Beckman sat for an interview with The Sandbox News to talk about this season’s games and the team’s hard-working athletes.

As of February 11th, the Titans are having a great start to the season, with five wins and only one loss. The team plays at DiMaggio complex in Clearwater, and Al Lang Stadium in downtown St. Petersburg. The season runs through April 26, with the last home game against South Florida State, followed by the state tournament which runs from May 9th to the 14th in Lakeland. All games are free for students. Their roster and schedule can be found on the SPC Athletics website. One upcoming game to watch is on March 13th, when the Titans take on the Canadian National Baseball team at Al Lang at 7 PM. The game is part of the Canadian National Team’s spring training camp, and is sure to be an exciting game.
