At a home game on Jan. 31, SPC’s Lady Titans were victorious against Palm Beach College’s Lady Panthers with a score of 63 to 57. The hour and a half game was fast-paced and full of adrenaline as it was the first game of the spring semester. Leading up to halftime, the Lady Titans had a strong defense, and the Lady Panthers hardly kept the ball in their court until the last 8 minutes when the Lady Panthers gained momentum and brought the score from 28 to 10 up to 32 to 30.

The second half of the game kept the crowd on high alert because the opposing teams moved quickly from left to right, keeping the scores tied. The Lady Titans tightened their defense and with 2 minutes left on the clock, they surpassed their opponents and made every free throw. It was well deserved win for the Titans, which will hopefully set the tone for the season.
