Yip-Yip at Crowbar 11/4/11
Arts & Entertainment November 14, 2011 , by Staff WriterYip-Yip has something to be proud of: they are gradually forming an audience around a liturgy of strange synthesizers, drum samples, dance beats, and warped chanting. Their sound may even border on a horrid but quaint definition like electric polka, with no exaggeration necessary.
Such maddening labels can be further explored on their most recent release, Bone Up, via the Yip-Yip bandcamp.
Take a look at their set when they opened for AIDS Wolf with Diamond Man and Unicorn Hard-On.
