Lady Titans to watch
KEEP YOUR EYE ON
#23 Porsha Fluker is a top prospect from Michigan who will undecidedly play this game at the next level. Here persona on
the floor is strong, her talent abundant, and her body type colossal. At 5 feet 9 inches, and at the power forward position, she plays like she is 6’4. She takes the ball to the basket eager to get fouled while putting up an easy 2 points from the line. Her eyes are on the prize….
#32 JJ Rodriguez ….if I could sum up JJ Rodriguez’s basketball skills in one word….GANGSTA…a returning player from last year’s roster and from Tampa, FL; JJ brings a pizzazz on the court the lights up the crowd every time she gets the ball. Working on her game in the off season JJ has learned not only to crash the boards but also to take the open shot and harness every opportunity on the court that comes her way.
Coach Denisha Davidson is pushing these Titans, undefeated and one of the best programs in the state of Florida for women’s NJCAA basketball, on and off the court. She was a two-time All-American at Division II Kennesaw State University, just north of Atlanta. Her three-year career averages at Kennesaw State were 20 points per game and 10 rebounds a game. Her lady Titans are winning on the court, but are also becoming successful off the court as individuals because of her direction as a mentor and a coach.
When the lady Titans break 70 points at home every fan in attendance will receive a coupon for a free Chick-fil-a sandwich compliments of the Chick-fil-a at Tyrone. Southern Conference play begins after the first of the year for the women, but our next home game is Tuesday Night @ 7pm versus Hillsborough.
