Seventeen year old Tinson Nhon is in his fourth semester at SPC studying to earn his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. His interest in art and fashion began as a small child, drawing and creating different works of art. Fashion Design entered the picture when he began watching Alexander McQueen runway shows, sparking an interest that he decided to pursue. Tinson has been an avid artist for his entire life, practicing his skill of drawing consistently. The subject of his artwork varies, however his real passion lies in fashion sketches which he has been drawing since 2009.

A few of Tinson’s major role models in the fashion world include: Lee Alexander McQueen, Valentino Garavani, Ricardo Tisci, Tilda Swinton,Nicola Formichetti, Thierry Mugler, Karl Lagerfeld, and Martin Margiela. During his time as a student, Tinson has drafted 3 collections inspired by La Divina Comedia by Dante Alighieri, Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2010 Collection, Egyptian Canopic Jars, the mythology related to Duamutef, various moths and the idea of reincarnation. Tinson’s aesthetic can be described as meticulously detailed and highly symbolic.
