This Week At The Clearwater Campus Arts Auditorium!!!

This weekend is PRIDE weekend for all of our students who are a part of the LGBT community! St. Petersburg PRIDE Parade is this Saturday on Central Ave. in St. Petersburg, starts at 9am and runs through 3pm!!

SPC’s Clearwater Campus will be showing off the talent of our students in the production of The Laramie Project; a play  about the reaction to the 1998 murder of University of Wyoming gay student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. The times and dates displayed in the flyer below.

 The murder was denounced as a hate crime and brought attention to the lack of hate crimes laws in various states, including Wyoming. It is a very sad story but it will help people understand why events like St. Petersburg PRIDE are so important.

Come out and show support at the Clearwater Campus this weekend!!!!
