WAVE Launches Gaming Tournament Poster Contest

The Web Arts and Visual Entertainment club is holding a contest for poster art to promote the on-campus fighting game tournament, ComboCon, that will be held this Summer. Up for grabs is a $100 Amazon.com gift card. Entries should be submitted to The WAVE club Facebook page, the deadline for submissions is midnight on April sixteenth. Full contest rules are available here.

ComboCon will be held on June 21st in UP 303 from noon until 4 PM. The event is a celebration of the fighting game genre, up to 64 students will compete for over $100 in prizes playing Injustice: Gods Among Us, based on the DC Comics universe. The event will also have games available for the public to play. Sign ups for competitive play begin soon!
