SPC Wind and Concert Bands

St. Petersburg College is debuting our restructured bands program this Fall semester featuring two instrumental ensembles open to community members:  The Wind Symphony at St. Petersburg College and The Community Concert Band at St. Petersburg College.  Both ensembles are currently seeking musicians.  Details and online application forms are available at www.nathanmuehl.com/spcbands

The Wind Symphony at St. Petersburg College
Thursdays 7:00PM-9:00PM
The Wind Symphony is a premier level community wind ensemble in residence at St. Petersburg College. It is comprised of accomplished volunteer area musicians who rehearse and perform masterworks in a serious and rewarding setting. A set instrumentation of 44 musicians provides for a highly selective ensemble with premium levels of artistic expression.

The Community Concert Band
Mondays 7:00PM-9:00PM
The Community Concert Band, is for college music majors, college non-music majors, advanced high school musicians, and community members. The Community Concert Band promotes musical growth through quality music, focused rehearsals, and a respectful environment.

The Fall session will begin August 19, 2013 and will end December 13, 2013.
