SPC Titans take on the Hillsborough Hawks Monday, April 13 at the Joe DiMaggio sports complex across from the SPC Clearwater campus. It was the perfect weather for a baseball game on Monday evening. Both teams warmed up before the game as the fans rolled in and took their seats on the bleachers for each team. The Titans starter pitcher, who lasted the majority of the game, was #24, Alex Demchak.  The game was off to a slow start, with a consistent three up three down from both teams and a score of 0-0 for the first four innings; there were no great plays or major hits.

In the fifth inning, things began to pick up a bit. Batters managed to make hits; plays were made and both teams scored. Both teams had very strong, consistent pitchers making it hard to get a play in. For many innings, the game was tied up with a score of 4-4, causing it to go into overtime.

It was then the tenth inning and the Titans took the field managing to hold the score at 4-4 not letting the Hawks score. When it was the Titans at bat, they had two outs and runners on first and second base. They put in a pinch runner on first, bases were stolen, and everything in their power was done to make sure they scored to break the tie. The batter up, #12, nails one down center field sending the third base runner, #10, home and creating a score of 4-5 and another victory for the Titans.
