The Shine St. Petersburg Mural Festival kicked off this month in downtown St. Petersburg, transforming walls all over the city. St. Pete isn’t a stranger to art and murals on its building but the new crop of murals, by artist from all over the world, are definitely a must see. The promotional events took place from September 1st – 12th and were accompanied by several arts exhibits opening around town. The mural are permanent art installations. It is an impressive experience to witness the lavish designs and the sheer size of this art.
