Lady Titans vs. Daytona State 12/5

It was a tough game for the Lady Titans Saturday, December 12, unfortunately taking a loss to Daytona State. Three lead changes in the first period kicked off an exciting game of basketball. However, Daytona State never lost their lead after retaking it by one point at the end of the first period. At the beginning of the second period, the Lady Titans started to get into some foul trouble, giving Daytona many free throws.

IMG_0472The foul trouble quickly snowballed into a large Daytona lead. By the end of the first half, Daytona had nearly doubled the score of the Titans taking a 41-22 lead. Offensively quite a few things went wrong for the Lady Titans, limiting them to 4 points in the second period. Unfortunately, the record never changed for the Lady Titans and they continued to take hits in the second half, eventually taking a staggering loss. Final score 89-46 Daytona.
