Tarpon’s Latinos United Throws Hispanic Heritage Festival!

SPC Programs & Events

On Sept. 30, the Latino’s United club thrilled students, staff, and guests with a spectacular Hispanic Heritage Festival. Free food was provided and talented dancers from Tampa Bay Flamenco Dance Company put on a show on a stage set up in the courtyard outside the Agora building. The festival also welcomed a group from Ecuador “Grupo Ecuatorian Kiart” that sold lovely jewelry and crafts. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the display and appreciated the cultural experience. The Latinos United Club meets Tuesday’s at 2pm in Agora 007 (the Student Center). If you’re interested in joining Tarpon’s chapter, email latinosunited.spc.ts@gmail.com.

In addition, this day was the grand opening of the International Center where students can get information about study abroad opportunities. If you wish to learn more, stop by the International Center or contact Anna Faiola at faiola.anna@spcollege.edu or 727-712-5883.
