A Taste of Soul at Tarpon Campus
SPC Programs & Events February 25, 2016 , by Sandbox StaffOn Wednesday, February 24th, the Tarpon Springs campus celebrated African American History Month with Taste of Soul, which encouraged students to create displays about influential African Americans and enjoy a free buffet organized by the Student Government. “Students [had] the opportunity to learn about 150 Years of Sociopolitical Impact as part of the “Battle of the Clubs” – through creative displays.”
Originally, the festivities were to be held outside, but due to the unpredictable rain storms moving through the area that day, the celebration was moved indoors to the Fine Arts building. Below are some pictures of students and staff enjoying the event!
