Let Poetry Lead The Way

Professor Sheree Greer’s Creative Writing students chalked lines from their favorite poems on the sidewalk of the quad on April 7th to kickoff National Poetry Month on Seminole Campus. Poetry covered the paths between the UP and TL buildings and ran along the walk from the UP building toward the library. Passerbys joined in and everyone enjoyed reading the lines the rest of the week!

  • 4/8/17 at  4 pm – Poetry Paraphrase workshop with Karen Johnson in the Seminole Learning Commons
  • 4/8/15 at 7 p.m. – open mic party with Linda Reifler-Alessi and Sheree Greer at Retro Joe’s in the Gibbs/St. Pete library
  • 4/15/15 at 3 pm – The Sonnet with Julia Rawa in the Seminole Learning Commons
  • 4/18/17 at 4 pm – Hi! Haiku wit Karen Johnson in the Seminole Learning Commons
  • 4/21/2015 at 12 :30 p.m. — FIFTH ANNUAL! Pizza and Poetry Open Mic! UP Lobby
  • 4/29/15 at 2 pm – Applied Poetry in Lyrics with Karen Johnson in the Seminole Learning Commons
  • 4/30/2015 @ 12:30 p.m. — National Poem in Your Pocket Day! UP Lobby
