Currently the 69th governor of Ohio, John Kasich was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Ohio State University. In 1978, Kasich was elected senator for the 15th district of Ohio. This made him the youngest person ever elected to the Ohio Senate. Kasich served from 1983 to 2000 or nine terms as a US Representative for Ohio’s 12th Congressional district. After, he hosted Heartland with John Kasich from 2001 to 2007 for Fox News Channel. He also worked as an investment banker and a managing director of Lehman Brothers in Columbus, Ohio.
