By Prof. Anthony Nappi and Cindy Kuropas

On April 29, SPC professor Dr. Greg Byrd did a poetry reading at the Leepa-Rattner Museum’s interactive gallery from his published work Salt and Iron. A crowd of poetry enthusiasts gathered to listen to Dr. Byrd read from his collection, as well as tell stories of his youth that helped inspire his art. Other works by Dr. Byrd include At Penuel and Florida Straits, along with additional publications. The performance lasted roughly an hour and students were treated to pizza during the reading.
