Tarpon Environmental Club Goes Kayaking!

SPC Programs & Events

On Sept 11, the Tarpon Springs Environmental Club enjoyed a day of kayaking. The group borrowed kayaks from the SPC Clearwater campus and kayaked from 10am – 12:30pm at Cooper’s Bayou Park in Safety Harbor. During this exciting outing, students were able to take in the sights of local Florida wildlife and learn a little more about Florida’s environment with the assistance of SPC instructor and club advisor, Kelli Stickrath, and adjunct instructor Tracy Tippin. After the outing, students were treated to a free meal at Chipotle’s, courtesy of the Student Government.
