Dr. Kevin Stanley Wins the Course of Distinction Award

SPC Programs & Events

Kevin Stanley represented SPC at the prestigious Massachusetts Colleges Online Conference on June 2, 2016 as a presenter where he shared his experiences on developing and teaching online courses.  SPC’s new Standard Course (HUM 1020: Intro. to Humanities) was demonstrated and well received.

Dr. Stanley was also presented with the “Outstanding Online Course of Distinction” award in the broad area of Humanities (competing with entire state of Mass Univ. and College system) for Intro to Philosophy Online. He created this course in 2012 before joining SPC.  He teaches this course now in a blended format at SPC’s Tarpon Springs Campus.
