Environmental Sciences Students Volunteer at Primate Sanctuary

SPC Programs & Events

By Prof. Kelli Stickrath

Environmental students from the Tarpon Springs campus visited and cleaned up the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary on Wednesday, October 26th. First they were given a tour by Director, Debbie Cobb, and Volunteer Coordinator, Deannna Green. After the tour, students helped cut up the monkey food, landscape the area, and do some cleaning of the facility. In addition, students collected items to donate throughout the term to help this non-profit facility that cares for the many animals  on property that were abandoned and provided
a home.
