During my internship in Telemundo Tampa, I have learned and adapted the skills and techniques to perform my career job duties. There are many learning objectives that were made in the Internship like creating events, how to converse with artist managers, looking up music artists info, organize meetings, creating power points, watching out for what is new in the news, and even attending events where I had to set up and talk to the public about what is going on in Telemundo.

The way how the internship relates to my academic major is by giving me the opportunity to experience the area of T.V industry where I can meet reporters, and news anchors to develop and get some tips that can make me a better journalist in the field. This job duty taught me how to get involved in the media and investigate through the Internet on what is Trending, news across the world and how to deliver it as a reporter. I also developed new writing skills, presentable openings on how to greet someone, how to look up stories and how to create a short brief caption on what a story is based on.

The significant learning that I experienced that I did not previously anticipate was how to organize and plan an event for a crowd of more than 20,000 people and still not going over the budget of spending more than what is planned. Dressing up and knowing what to say when conversing with someone important is one of the learning principles I experienced. Being in the public eye is a way of catching their attention because it can lead the connections for managers to introduce you to other people. Not just that, but it is an opportunity that one should consider because it might be the only opportunity of a lifetime that may never come around the corner.
