Poetry: I’ll cast a spell

Out of the Sandbox

by Tiffiny Rose Allen

I’ll cast a spell

so that I can tell

if the world suits me.

I’ll look around

and see the profound reality.

Touch the wind and kiss it goodbye

run from the rain and don’t cry.

Grab a shield and protect your pain.

Forget the walls for just a day

Listen to the stars, and how they decay,

this moment and, forever.

We’ll see the world through a fever

it’ll pass, and it’ll grow

and it will be then that we know

what we decided for the future.

(Poem taken from the book ‘Leave The Dreaming To The Flowers’ available on Amazon)
