Poetry: I’ll cast a spell
Out of the Sandbox September 21, 2017 , by Sandbox Staffby Tiffiny Rose Allen
I’ll cast a spell
so that I can tell
if the world suits me.
I’ll look around
and see the profound reality.
Touch the wind and kiss it goodbye
run from the rain and don’t cry.
Grab a shield and protect your pain.
Forget the walls for just a day
Listen to the stars, and how they decay,
this moment and, forever.
We’ll see the world through a fever
it’ll pass, and it’ll grow
and it will be then that we know
what we decided for the future.
