Poem: The River of life
Out of the Sandbox January 14, 2017By Wade Prescott
Washes like a title wave over the land
Flows into bountiful pools of cerulean, emeralds, and gold
quickly dashes apart over black, gray and red speckled rocks.
Downstream velocious, then strolling
Over quarry,
beneath ore
Traversing capacious flats
Through bow, corner, turn, and twist
succession is ever changing.
river moves mountains
river runs through fields
Green Forests
Deep old Ravines
Shaping cave and crag
secret places of hidden truth
light plays on the water fooling the viewer with its muddled beauty
blue sky, the green of life, and yellow energy that drives all
A beautiful reflection of you.
water is full of life
micro organisms
building blocks
effervescent sleek dancing leviathan
water gives life
fields springing up around it
Water always returns to the ocean
Mists to the havens
Rains down again
Washes like a title wave over the land
Flows into bountiful pools of cerulean, emeralds, and gold
quickly dashes apart over black, gray and red speckled rocks.
Downstream velocious, then strolling
Over quarry,
beneath ore
Traversing capacious flats
Through bow, corner, turn, and twist
succession is ever changing
